I am now fully immunized against Japanese Encephalitis! No brain swelling for me!

So things are going fairly well with one notable exception. I'm all moved back to my mom's temporarily, and I've got most of my documentation together. Key word: most. I apparently need an invitation letter from the Beijing foreign affairs office in order to get my visa, but I contacted the company and they submitted the application for the letter. If all goes well I should have it tonight, which means I should be able to apply for my visa tomorrow. Key word: should.

I booked my Vancouver - Beijing flight, but not my Ottawa - Victoria flight. The current plan is to leave this coming Tuesday, the 24th, but whether or not that happens depends on whether or not I get my visa before then.
